Holgate's Ducking Duck was first produced in 1947. It was so unique that it held a US Design Patent. The toy has been reproduced in the original art work and colors from 1947. Jarvis Rockwell, Norman Rockwell's brother, was chief toy designer for Holgate and he designed this toy and created the art work. No matter which way you flip it, it lands on its wheels, the duck "bobs" back up and keeps on rolling. Each Limited Edition toy is numbered on the bottom and Exclusively sold only at the Holgate factory toy store & museum website. Ducking Duck comes with a Letter of Authenticity signed and dated by the President of Holgate. This is the first in a series of limited edition toys that Holgate will be reproducing.
